Terms of Service

Effective August 4, 2026

Agreement

These Terms of Service govern your use of the LockedIn website, macOS application, account services, and paid plans. By creating an account, purchasing a plan, or using the service, you agree to these terms.

The service

LockedIn provides tools for tracking app and website activity, reviewing focus trends, and blocking distracting apps or websites. Blocking and tracking depend on operating-system permissions, device settings, browser compatibility, and software availability. You remain responsible for your device, backups, work, and decisions made using the service.

Accounts

You must provide accurate account information and keep your sign-in credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. Contact us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

Subscriptions, trials, and lifetime access

Current prices and billing periods are shown on our pricing page and at checkout. Eligible monthly and annual subscriptions begin with the trial shown at checkout, then automatically renew unless canceled before the trial or billing period ends. A lifetime purchase is a one-time payment for access to the then-current LockedIn Pro product for as long as we continue to offer and support it; it does not guarantee every future product or separately sold service.

Paddle is our merchant of record and handles checkout, taxes, invoices, payment processing, and subscription administration. Your purchase is also subject to the terms presented by Paddle at checkout.

Cancellation and refunds

You may cancel a recurring subscription through the customer portal. Cancellation prevents future renewals and generally leaves access active through the paid period. Refund eligibility is described in our Refund and Cancellation Policy and does not limit rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.

Acceptable use

You may not misuse the service, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with its operation, reverse engineer it except where applicable law permits, use it to violate another person's rights, or resell access without written permission.

Third-party services

LockedIn may rely on third-party platforms for authentication, data synchronization, AI-assisted features, payments, and operating-system functionality. Those services may be subject to separate terms, and we are not responsible for third-party outages or changes outside our reasonable control.

Intellectual property

LockedIn and its software, design, and content are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These terms grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the application while you comply with them.

Service changes and termination

We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service. We may suspend or terminate access for material misuse, legal requirements, security risk, or nonpayment. You may stop using the service at any time.

Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. We do not promise uninterrupted operation or that blocking controls will prevent every distraction or loss. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

Changes

We may update these terms as the service evolves. Material changes will apply prospectively, and the effective date above will be updated.
